Facts are not the antidote for doubt

In this topic, Seth highlights the importance of experience rather than mere facts to clear doubts in one’s mind be it in any field of study! He gives a wonderful quote as below.
“Drink enough water and you will cease to be thirsty.
And yet, a doubting person can be drowning in facts, but facts won’t change a mind that doesn’t want to be changed. More facts don’t counter more doubt. Someone who is shaking his head, arms folded, eyes squinted and ears closed isn’t going to be swayed by more facts.”
Seth puts forward a premise that doubt “surrenders” to experience. And this experience can only happen if there’s involvement.
Seth states that if someone is willing to find the right answer, willing to explore what might be effective, what might be confirmable, then involving themselves thoroughly in the journey will ease the doubt and opens the door to personal experience.
He suggests working it out, exploring it, studying it, repeatedly asking why with an open mind… these experiences in turn will help engage us, earn our attention and gain our trust.
Seth also rationalizes that Doubt is due to fear factor within us. That is why many of us do not want to involve ourselves in the process of unravelling the truth!
So he advises we Earn enrolment first, develop a commitment to find a path, then bring on the process and the facts.
